Cabinet Secretary Opiyo Wandayi presided over the official ground breaking ceremony in Turkana County at the Lokichar oil field project to pave the way for the first oil in 2026.
He was accompanied by his counterpart from the East African Community Affairs ministry, Hon. Beatrice Moe, alongside the leadership of Turkana County, who reaffirmed their commitment and assured a seamless process which will benefit the people of Turkana County and the country at large.
